1960 – 2025: 65 years of hospitality, passion and mountains.
This summer Rifugio Bonetta at Gavia Pass celebrates 65 years since its opening. A special occasion celebrating a long tradition of hospitality by the Bonetta family. Founded in 1960 by mom Vittorina and dad Duilio, the hut has over the years become a landmark for hikers, cyclists, bikers and mountain lovers.
Making this anniversary even more special is the fact that the refuge is still passionately run by the Bonetta family. Today it is sisters and brothers Elisa, Fabrizia, Federico and Silvano who carry on the business founded by mother Vittorina and father Duilio, keeping alive that combination of human warmth, typical cuisine and love of the mountains that has made Rifugio Bonetta so beloved by those who frequent Gavia.
Over the course of summer 2025, the lodge will host special events and convivial moments to celebrate this important milestone with loyal customers, friends, and new visitors. A unique opportunity to relive history and look to the future, always under the sign of authenticity and hospitality.
