After about a month at a rapid pace, we have finally completed the total redo of the roofing work at Rifugio Bonetta at Gavia Pass.
We built a new ventilated roof with very high thermal insulation performance and special tinwork to withstand the weather that characterizes the pass during the cold months.

On the roof, we subsequently installed a 6kW photovoltaic system to power the shelter energetically during sunny days. Our plant is also equipped with a small battery that can support power demands during brief moments of bad weather or low production.
The total re-roofing complements the energy efficiency work begun last year with the installation of an interior coat and the installation of new triple-glazed double-glazed windows and doors.
We look forward to seeing you for a few more days in view of the upcoming winter closure.
